没入感を取り戻す、それぞれのための余白

「化学」と「色」の技術を通じて、世界60を超える国と地域で事業を展開するメーカー、DIC。
その大阪・堺工場におけるリフレッシュスペースの計画。
デジタルデトックス × ソロスペースをテーマに、日々デジタルの波にさらされるワーカーに向けて、
何も求められない時間と、ただそこに「いる」ことが許される場を構想した。

コンセプトは、特別感と静寂に満ちた「デトックスラウンジ」。
没入ではなく、“回帰”のための没入感をかたちにしている。

静けさが思考を深め、遮断が感性を呼び戻すように、
空間は落ち着いたトーンのマテリアルで統一し、大きな面をあえて余白として残した。

一人ひとりが自分だけの場所を見つけられるよう、
座ったときの視線が緩やかに制御されるよう家具を配置。
チェアや造作ソファには、身体をあずけるような沈み込みを持たせ、思考が静かにほどけていく時間を支える。

この場所でデジタルを手放したとき、身体と心は調律を取り戻す。
その余白の中で、次の気づきやアイデアが、ふと立ち上がる。

‘A margin for each, where immersion is regained’

DIC, a manufacturer operating in over 60 countries and regions through its technologies in chemistry and color.
This project designs a refresh space within its Sakai Plant in Osaka.
Centered on digital detox and solo space, it offers workers a place where nothing is required—
where one is simply allowed to be.

The concept is a “detox lounge,” defined by quiet distinction.
Not immersion for escape, but for return.

Stillness deepens thought, and disconnection restores sensitivity.
Calm-toned materials shape the space,
with generous surfaces left intentionally as margin.

Furniture is arranged to gently frame one’s view when seated,
allowing each person to find their own place.
Chairs and built-in sofas offer a soft depth,
supporting moments where thought quietly unravels.

As the digital is set aside, body and mind begin to retune.
Within that margin, new awareness and ideas quietly emerge.
