まるで浮遊しているかのようなシダーのかたまりは、
滑らかな円弧を描き思わず触れて腰掛けてみたくなる。
象徴的でボリュームのあるシダーと相まって、レッグをシャープでソリッドなスチール素材で仕上げ、
フォルムの「大と小」、素材の「柔と剛」の絶妙なバランスを保ち、気持ちの良い違和感を演出する。

“UKU” means “float” in Japanese.
The mass of cedar that seems to be floating draws a smooth arc and makes you want to touch it and sit down. Coupled with the iconic and voluminous cedar, the legs are finished in sharp, solid steel. It maintains a perfect balance between the “large and small” form and the “soft and rigid” material, creating a pleasant sense of incongruity. “UKU” stool that is active in various scenes.
